Blackhawk Network has given its incentives business a new identity, renaming it Hawk Incentives, which includes products and services formerly part of Blackhawk Engagement Solutions and the prepaid and payments company’s B2B digital incentive teams, according to a March 28 announcement. Blackhawk Engagement Solutions originally was formed after Blackhawk’s acquisitions of incentives and rewards providers Parago, InteliSpend, CardLab and Incentec Solutions.
Created to improve customer and partner experiences through long-term growth strategies and by developing efficiencies, Hawk Incentives aligns with Hawk Commerce, Blackhawk’s retail and digital consumer business, the company said.
“Hawk Incentives combines our digital B2B and incentive sales, marketing and product teams to more effectively deliver market-leading incentive solutions,” said Talbott Roche, Blackhawk Network CEO. “Building on Blackhawk’s success and momentum in the incentives marketplace, we are focused on efficiently delivering and cross-selling a complete set of global solutions for consumers, sales people, channel partners and employees.”
Blackhawk announced March 7 it had expanded its international digital incentives and rewards card portfolio. To meet demand, the expanded offerings include numerous currencies and multiple languages for card imagery, and digital content delivered in locally preferred formats. Also, the company grew early last year by way of a $120 million acquisition of GiftCards.com LLC, a web merchant of digital and physical gift cards, and affiliate OmniCard LLC, which provides prepaid incentive and rewards programs for business clients.
