Evolis, a global provider of personalization systems for plastic cards, is reorganizing its U.S. operations, opening a new office near Boston to be headed by Xavier Ballarin. A veteran of companies including 3COM and American Power Conversion, Ballarin has more than a decade of experience in developing indirect sales of high-tech products and nearly 15 years of experience launching e-commerce startups.
Meanwhile, Evolis has created a new division dedicated to serving the Latin America region, based out of Evolis’ existing Miami office. The division will be headed by Gerardo Talavera, who has been with the company for the past 12 years and has more than 20 years of experience in the plastic cards industry.
Ballarin and Talavera will report to Eirik Bakke, Evolis’ Singapore-based global sales director.
