The Bancorp has appointed Mark Connolly as executive vice president and head of credit markets. In the role, Connolly will lead all credit activities within The Bancorp’s business lines—areas that previously were under the direction of Bancorp COO Hugh McFadden. Connolly will report to Damian Kozlowski, president and CEO of The Bancorp.
Prior to joining The Bancorp in June 2016, Connolly held a number of senior leadership and credit roles at Citi Private Bank and Morgan Stanley Private Bank. At both institutions, he managed banking and lending teams comprised of more than 300 staff and more than $20 billion in loans outstanding. Connolly has roots in the fintech sector, having held senior leadership roles—including CFO—at Tresata, a startup software company focused on delivering data analytics to the financial services sector.
