In the latest development in a case that sent shockwaves through the financial services industry this past October when a three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals determined the structure of the CFPB was unconstitutional, the D.C. Circuit Court entered an order directing PHH Corporation to file a response to the CFPB’s petition for rehearing en banc (before the entire bench) in the case. The order from the D.C. Circuit was filed on Nov. 23 and required PHH to file a response within 15 days.
