Chase Liquid Goes Mobile (Aug. 14, 2012)

Aug. 14, 2012

Chase, the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co., has announced it will add mobile functionality to its Chase Liquid GPR card. Users of the card now can download the Chase Mobile app and use it to check their Liquid account balance and transaction history, make deposits and transfers and receive card-related alerts.

The new mobile functionality will help Liquid customers “manage their financial lives through their mobile device,” said Jack Stephenson, managing director of mobile commerce, e-commerce and payments, Chase. The Chase Mobile app is available for iPad, iPhone, Anrdoid and BlackBerry, as well as through chase.com using a mobile device’s browser.

Chase launched the Liquid card in June, throwing its hat into a GPR card ring that is increasingly occupied by major financial institutions—Synovus Bank, PNC Bank, BB&T, U.S. Bank and Regions Bank.
